中華文化週 Chinese Culture Week
「中華文化週」活動為期三個星期，老師先帶領幼兒參觀中華文化室，讓幼兒初步認識中華文化事物（例如中華美食、傳統活動、青花瓷、越劇京劇、中國古玩及文房四寶等）。然後，根據幼兒的學習興趣和能力，引導幼兒透過聆聽故事、感官探索、美勞創作、音體遊戲等一系列活動，接觸及體驗中華文化藝術，培養幼兒欣賞國家的傳統文化。
The “Chinese culture week” event lasts for three weeks. Teachers led children to visit the Chinese Culture Room. This allow children to have an initial understanding of Chinese cultural things. The children learned about Chinese Opera and Peking Opera, Chinese antiques and the four treasures of the study. Teachers guide children to experience Chinese Cultural Arts through story time, sensory explosion, arts creating, musical and physical games etc.
美樂中華文化美藝成果親子分享會Melody’s Chinese Culture Art Achievement Parent-child sharing session
是日安排了五個課室進行中華文化推廣活動，讓幼兒與家長一同認識不同的傳統文化，如中國古玩，中華美食及傳統服飾等。此外，學校亦安排了查篤撐粵劇團，教導幼兒學習簡單手勢，並體驗穿着粵劇服飾，增加了活動的趣味性和加深了幼兒對中國文化的認識。
Five classrooms has been arranged to have Chinese culture promotion activities. Parents and children learned different traditional culture such as Chinese antiques and Chinese food and traditional costumes. In addition, Cha Duk Chang Children’s Cantonese Opera Association was invited to teach children some simple gestures and to let them experience wearing Cantonese Opera costumes. These activities increased the fun of the event and deepened the understanding of Chinese culture.
兔氣揚眉生日會暨新年活動 Year of Rabbit Birthday Party and New Year Event
讓幼兒認識農曆新年的由來和習俗，如年獸的故事，寫揮春等，藉以增加他們對祖國傳統節日的認識。此外在活動中，老師安排了舞獅表演及華服拍照區，讓幼兒欣賞傳統的舞獅表演及嘗試穿着華服，透過活動讓他們感受傳統的中華文化。
Lunar New Year, also known as Chinese New Year, is celebrated by billions of people and is the most significant holiday on the Chinese calendar.This activity allows children to understand and explore the origin and customs of Chinese New Year. The story of “Nian’has been taught by the teacher and how spring couplets are written were some the activities in the class. During this event, teachers has arranged a Lion Dance Performance and Chinese costumes photos zone. Through this event,students can get a true sense of the scale and importance of the holiday.
跳躍動感「少林功夫」親子運動日 Jump dynamic Shaolin Kung Fu Family Sports Day
Shaolin Kung Fu was invited to the school to send Chinese culture message to everyone through Family Sports Day. Master Guo used basic knowledge of Shaolin Kung Fu for example Shaolin, warmup exercises, basic footwork, Eight Section Silk Brocade and Kung Fu games to form simple movements by adjusting and practicing postures. Shaolin Kung Fu makes muscles stronger and the body more flexible. It enables parents and children to understand the management of breathing and proper body mechanics.
棕葉飄香迎端午 Dragon Boat Festival
是次活動讓幼兒認識很多有關端午節的知識，透過認識屈原的故事，龍舟競賽遊戲及學習包粽子，加深幼兒對端午節的認識和感受端午節的氣氛和樂趣。
This activity encourages children to express social understanding about Dragon Boat Festival. It allows them to feel the atmosphere and the joy of Dragon Boat Festival through the story of Qu Yuan, Dragon Boat Competition and rice dumpling wrapping.
設計活動：魚 Design Activity: Fish
在「魚」設計活動中，幼兒能加強對「魚」的認識，體會人類與動物的關係，學習接納和欣賞別人。此外，老師重點引導幼兒透過欣賞魚的掛飾和年畫，了解魚在中華傳統文化中的寓意，然後一起進行美勞創作——「連年有餘」掛飾，並利用作品成果進行展示和分享。
In order to strengthen children’s understanding of the animal “fish”, children were taught the relationship between human and animals through listening stories, collecting information, creating arts, playing musical and games, role-playing, exploring science, etc. They were also taught on how to accept and appreciate others and understand the meaning of “fish” in Chinese traditional culture.
設計活動：風箏 Design Activity: Kite
以設計活動風箏作為探究主題，與幼兒從各個方面搜集資料去認識風箏，包括風箏的結構、種類、用途和玩法等，最後一起製作風箏，從做中學去體驗風箏的樂趣。過程中，幼兒了解風箏的歷史由來，並知道風箏是中國傳統民間的手工藝，從而加深認識中華文化的傳統藝術。
With kites designing as an exploration theme, we search for information through every aspect with children to know more about kites, such as their structures, types, usages, and we take pleasure in making kites together. In the process, children learn more about the traditional art of Chinese Culture through understanding the history of kites and knowing that kites are Chinese traditional folk handcraft.
生日會/節慶活動 Birthday Party/ Festival Activity
學校於每次生日會或節慶活動時，均會舉行升國旗儀式，教導幼兒升旗時當守的禮儀：面向國旗肅立，向旗幟行注目禮。透過升國旗儀式，讓幼兒認識國旗、國歌，培養愛國家愛民族的情操。
We hold flag raising ceremony every birthday party and festival activities. The significance of the flag raising ceremony is to enhance the sense of belonging to the country. This will teach them the etiquette during flag ceremony by standing solemnly facing the flags with respectful attention.
設計活動：水果 Design Activity: Fruits
在「水果」設計活動中，幼兒不僅豐富了關於「水果」的知識，亦能透過多元化的活動，關注水果蘊含的吉祥寓意，認識到水果在中華傳統文化中原來不但有食用的價值，還可用來表達對別人的祝福。
In this activity, teachers will guide children through story time, role-playing, teaching tools, sensory exploration, art creation, sound, and physical games etc. This will encourage children to have strong interest and to participate more in this activity.
We also arrange some parent-child activities to boost interaction and cooperation between school and family.
Children will not only increase the knowledge about ‘’fruits ‘’ but also take auspicious meaning of fruits as the starting point. This will deepen the understanding of traditional Chinese culture and increase the ability of creativity and cooperative learning.
